NEW HALL VALLEY COUNTRY PARK TRIM TRAIL CONSULTATION NOW LIVE

Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council is encouraging residents to have their say on a new fitness facility in the town.

The Council would like to invest £16,000 in a trim trail for New Hall Valley Country Park, to be located between the two existing play areas.

Councillor Charlotte Hodivala is Chair of the Amenities, Leisure and Community Services Committee. She said: “As part of the Mayor’s Challenge 2016, school children were invited to vote on their ideas for improving Sutton Coldfield. Creating a trim trail was the clear favourite.

“We are excited about the plans for the trim trail and think it would be a great asset to the area. We are pleased that this is now at the consultation stage and would encourage residents to go onto the Birmingham City Council website and have their say on the plans.”

The proposal includes eight pieces of timber trim trail equipment installed with grass matting surface.

A detailed plan together with the consultation questionnaire can be found at https://www.birminghambeheard.org.uk/place/new-hall-valley-country-park-trim-trail/

The Consultation runs until 19 December.
