13 Dec: Town Council grant for Good Hope Hospital Charity’s Children’s appeal

Good Hope Hospital Charity is raising £300,000 to renovate the children’s areas at the hospital, making them more bright and child-friendly for the 30,000 children who are treated there each year. The appeal has received a boost thanks to a very generous donation from Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council. The Council has donated £10,000 to the appeal, which will help the Charity to provide a beautiful space that will help

The Mayor of Sutton Coldfield, Councillor Derrick Griffin, has chosen Acacia Family Support as his charity to support during his term in office. Acacia Family Support located in Sutton Coldfield was founded in 2004 by two local mums, Emma Borg and Rachel Gregory who both experienced postnatal depression and were determined to help other families.  The charity works alongside the local health service and delivers a service from St John’s
