Full Council
The Full Council is responsible for managing the financial commitments of the Council and for overseeing and approving appointments, strategy and policy.
Amenities, Leisure & Community Services
The Amenities, Leisure and Community Services Committee is concerned with the upkeep and development of our recreational facilities and ensuring the Town Council fulfil their Health & Safety/legislative responsibilities for all residents.
Strategy & Resources
(previously Finance and General Purposes)
All financial considerations, including budgetary control, fixed assets, leases and service level considerations, fall under the umbrella of the Strategy and Resources Committee.
Planning & Highways
The Highways and Planning Committee act as the statutory consultee on all planning applications. They are also responsible for licensing matters and can influence changes to local planning policies as well as comment to other authorities on transport, pedestrian and regeneration issues.
Allotments Sub-Committee
Established in January 2022.
The Sub-Committee reports to the Amenities, Leisure and Community Services Committee and is responsible for considering matter of policy, management and maintenance of the Town Council’s allotments.
Human Resources Sub-Committee
Established in June 2018.
The Sub-Committee reports to the Strategy and Resources Committee and is responsible for the Council’s recruitment and the discharge of the Council’s duties as an employer.
Health & Wellbeing Partnership
The Health and Wellbeing Partnership aims to bring together representatives of public, private and third sector organisations to develop a more unified and coordinated approach to promote health and wellbeing in Sutton Coldfield.
Town Centre Regeneration Partnership
The TCRP was formed in 2018 and brings together public, private and third sector stakeholders to promote and develop Sutton Coldfield town centre.
